Not Mine
In China, surrogacy has long been legally prohibited. However, driven by certain reproductive demands and economic interests, underground surrogacy agencies continue to thrive despite repeated crackdowns. These illegal institutions often lack basic medical qualifications and operate in poor sanitary conditions, putting surrogates' physical and psychological safety at great risk. In recent years, more and more young women, even underage girls, have been lured into this hidden industry by money or false promises. Many of them have no real awareness of the harm and irreversible consequences that await them. Through this project, I want to reveal these hazards that have not been given due attention.
