Shenyuan Wang is a photographic artist currently studying at London College of Communication, part of University of the Arts London. His practice focuses on the intersection of social issues and personal experience, using photography to explore how individuals are shaped by contemporary systems, everyday environments, and emotional conditions.

His work often engages with themes such as surveillance and capitalism, social pressure, the commodification of the body, intimacy and contemporary modes of relationships, memory and identity, as well as the ways space is continually formed through movement, perception, and lived experience. He is equally interested in the emotional experiences of private life, memory, and individual perception, as well as wider social structures, power mechanisms, and urgent social issues.

Working across photography, photobooks, installation, and spatial presentation, Wang approaches image-making as a language that is both critical and poetic. His practice connects conceptual inquiry with visual storytelling, creating works that respond to contemporary realities while inviting reflection on human experience.
